You didn’t start this for the money. You started this for something real, something true to you. Why else sacrifice so much? You started this because you saw a better future for yourself, one which you are the master of. You started this knowing it would be hard, but knew it would be worth it.
Nothing has changed. It is just you, and what you believe will give you the future you deserve.
You have bled for this daily. You have taken risks that most wouldn’t dream of. You took responsibility in ways most people can’t or don’t want to.
There is a reason for that.
You get to wake up every morning and try. There is honor in that. There is respect in that. You have shown discipline and tenacity. You have proven that you are strong and intelligent and that you can make things happen. There are no accidents. You didn’t slip and fall into becoming an entrepreneur. You have sleepless nights before you chose to do it, and you have had sleepless nights since figuring out how.
You care about this. This is something you raised. It is something you made people believe in, and gave them a reason to value it. Something that never existed before, you made strangers value it enough to part with the money they make while they are away from their families.
You didn’t trick anyone into believing in you. You provided them with something they needed in a way they wanted it. That happened because you saw a need for your business to exist. Simple. You connected the dots, and made real connections in order to make those dots come to life in the lives of people who needed it.
You could’ve stopped at any time. You could’ve never started. But you are here, reading an article about quitting as if that is an option. The questions should be, what’s the alternative? And if it is an alternative, why choose the hard road to begin with?
You chose the hard road because that way it belongs to you. It’s hard for only one reason: you are the blame. You are the blame for the success and the mistakes, the ups and downs. And most people can’t accept the downside. They can’t take the responsibility.
But you knew you could. You understood it so deeply that you risked it all to have a life of service and responsibility – not only for yourself, but for your loved ones, and everyone who loves what you have created.
Do not ever forget.
Nothing has changed.
You are just one person. With a vision. Trying every day.
